Baptism happens after you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, by repenting of your sins and believing in the Gospel. Baptism is being fully immersed in water, as an adult (children should be at least 10 years old), to publicly demonstrate you have personally trusted Jesus for your salvation.
